You gotta wonder where they went wrong

Commercials suck.

TV, radio, whatever, they figured out at some point along the way that the more annoying the commercial, the more the target audience will remember it. So most people tune out commercials for the most part, just remembering the product and/or brand and forgetting the annoyance immediately. I, however, make an effort to remember just how annoying each commercial is so I can avoid the product if possible, even if I like the product. I think it's a horrible thing to annoy people for money.

Why aren't there commercials like this any more:
