Vocal brahmacharya obviously implies control over a person's speech regarding sexual expressions and overtones. Obscene jokes and lewd songs should be avoided. Is is my individual and personal philosophy, however, that one should never become fearful. With this in mind, we should understand that occasionally a joke may be funny. It would be far more spiritual, and certainly more normal, to laugh at such a joke than to get uptight. It is wise to remember: seek and find balance in all things...
